About 70 % of laboratory errors arise in the preanalytical phase — between the moment blood is drawn and the moment the sample is loaded onto the analyser. Since 2016 Viena Medical has been working systematically on the quality of preanalytics in Belarus: from reviewing standard tenders to picking properly sterilised components.

Certified vacuum
Filling the tube within ±10 % of the declared volume per ISO 6710 is the only way to guarantee the correct reagent-to-blood ratio.

Finishing gamma sterilisation
Sterilising after final packaging (ANSI/AAM/ISO 11137) is the only way to guarantee 100 % sterility — unlike sterilising before packaging.
